Well, first SCD for 3+1/2 months, I tried to make the goat yogurt and she

couldn't tolerate it. Then almond yogurt for 6 months, after this we could

add some new foods. Then, we changed to goat yogurt for 6 months. All the

time only adding 1 new food a month. We are still only @ 20 foods BUT,

different consistencies and got over all that gagging! This whole time Kali

had bad rashes & hives from head to butt but, didn't know why. We just got

her allergy tested doing the skin test about 3 months ago. Her traditional

allergist took a blood test and it cam back negative. She would not further

test so, we found a new allergist.

We tried S. Boulardii even though it wasn't SCD per her GI doc. She had that

terrible rash again. This time covering her entire body. She was too

sensitive to the yeast @ that time to give her that probiotic yeast

supplement. We were also giving her casein-free acidophilus, coconut oil,

candidase, the goat yogurt, I made her cranberry juice with fresh, organic

cranberries-mixed with water, no other juices, epsom salts baths & charcoal

when die-off was rough, clo, krill oil, fish oil, fresh garlic, juicing

veggies, some bifido, lots of pure water.

I found out that she was allergic to yeast by her having a reaction to the

S. Boulardii and her allergist said so also. She had so much of it in her

system that she was reacting to it.

I tried to give it to her a month ago seeing no signs of yeast. She had

absolutely no reaction to it and now I give it to her as a maintenence thing

every 2 weeks. So, even though we are following SCD for diet, supplementally

we aren't. We couldn't get rid of the yeast until we got rid of the worms

first unfortunately.

Email me off list and I can explain better & go into better detail hoping

to answer some of your questions.

MY GUESS IS HIGH-DOSED PROBIOTICS, GOAT YOGURT, SCD, COCONUT OIL & OTHER

SUPP'S. GOOD LUCK! jlessard1@...

Just to clarify....

The probiotic s.boulardii IS legal on SCD. The bifidus/bifido bacterial

strains of probiotics are NOT legal.

jlessard@... Just in case you want to contact me offlist with any

questions you may have. I can try to help since your situation is so

similiar to what we've already been through. Those good bugs are what's

going to help the most. Have you also tried coconut oil? It is good for

parasites, yeast and even some bacteria & viruses. You can use it in a lot

of our recipes. Jenn & K
