Home again, and a message to Leanne

Hey y'all,

We're back at home after cutting our trip short because of my having a wicked

attack of

laryngitis. It hit very hard and fast, I had a sore throat Friday night and

woke up

Saturday morning completely closed up and unable to speak. Poor Bob, he freaked

out,

he's become so sensitive about my health. All I was able to do all day Saturday

was sleep,

and then we got up early this morning, or should I say yesterday

morning....hahaha, and

caught the early flight home, instead of staying two days longer as we'd

planned. Since I

couldn't speak anyway, was feeling achy and sore to boot, we thought it best to

get back

to home

territory other than spend any more time away, in case I got sicker.

Both of my ears are blocked and my nose is congested, and the flight didn't help

the ear

situation at all. We think it may have been a reaction to all the new blossoms

and pollen

activity up North, my Dad said that a lot of other people in town had been

getting sick with

the same type of allergy symptoms. I had been out doors most of the time we

were there,

enjoying spring in New York, and thought it odd that I'd have allergies in what

was my

home town. Being that I haven't lived there in 35 years, though, might have had

something to do with it!!!

Leanne, I haven't forgotten you, and will still send you those articles as I

promised. The

laptop took sick at the same time as I did, something happend to it Friday night

and I was

unable to get online or bring up any of my files. Now that I'm home I can send

you

everything from my desktop, and I'll start doing so tomorrow.
