I got this from a little while ago. > > Katy,I'm so sorry, I haven't had a chance to get to the computer to update you. Savannah was moved to a different hospital. She is now in PICU at St. Francis in Tulsa. She was to go to Oklahoma City to the children's hospital but developed swelling on her brain and it was decided that she wouldn't survive the flight. We had to wait for an intensive care ambulance to move her across town. She is now on a vent and dialysis. The Dr. said she is now fighting for her life. She was moved yesterday afternoon. Sorry this is so short but I got to get some rest. I'll update you when I get the chance. Guest guest
Savannah is 10 & 1/2, and as far as I know it was caused by the IV tobramyacin, but I am not 100% sure on that. I hope to hear from again today, so maybe I can find out. Katy mom to Austin 4 no CF & Piper 17 months w/CF Patpatstoo@... wrote: Savannah is in our prayers. How old is she? Guest guest
Our thoughts and prayers are with Savannah and her family. I have shared her name with a group of women I know who pray for those who need it most... Mind you I am not a religious person but when a little child is this sick I feel like I should offer all the help that I can. ... We are thinking of you all.
