Was this the state employees' BCBS or another type of BCBS? I'd heard that

the state employees' plan (which I have) is pretty good about approving, but

of course I'm worried. :-( Best of luck fighting them whichever plan it

is, though -- I'm behind you all the way!

I too have BCBS of NC. I have had a time with them!! I have had a claim

pending with them for over two months now! I have been denied twice, but I

my claim is up for " formal appeal " next Wednesday. Wish me luck!!

I also don't understand how one person can get approved so easily and for

others it is such an up hill battle! I told Big Red the other night I am

beginning to think one of my ex-boyfriends with a grudge works for BCBS of

NC!!!!

Try not to get too frustrated- I keep saying to myself " it will all be worth

it " . Plus look at Gloria (Big Red)!! She got approved today!! I

couldn't be happier if it were me. She has had a real hard time too- but it

all worked out great for her. You might want to try and contact her- she

has helped me tremendously!! I wouldn't have the appeal next Wednesday if

it weren't for her!! She knows all the people to contact. She faxed a

letter in for me when my computer wouldn't print the other day! Isn't that

so sweet??!!
