Hi ,

I am having my surgery on the 4th, so I don't

think I'll be much help, since I don't know when

I'll be discharged on the 5th. My husband will be

with me and he can stick around on Thursday - but

probably only till I'm discharged. So it would be

hard to say for sure if we'd be any good for this

until we know what time your surgery is. Maybe

some local MGB post-op will volunteer. If you

can't find anyone for sure, I'm sure we can work

something out.

By the way, I am in the 9:00 am clinic, but there

are several others who have surgery on the 4th who

will be at the 1:00 pm clinic (, and

). We are planning to have a very light

dinner together (maybe at Ruby Tuesdays) on

Tuesday evening. Please feel free to join us. I

know and I are staying at the Hawthorn

Suites. might be too - although she was

originally at the Hilton. Not sure where is

staying.

price for Priceline.Com and they actually accepted it. I could not

believe it but I got the fare. The listed fare was $667.00 I have to

fly at night, which is ok but I won't be in until about 11am on

Tuesday so I will be at the 1pm Tuesday Oct-3rd clinic.

I am however in a little bit of a pickle and in need of a some help.

I was told that I needed a friend or family member at the hospital

while I am in surgery. I am coming alone from Las Vegas and I was

wondering if someone would be willing to be there while I am in

surgery.

If someone is available or even one of your family members is willing

could you contact me about being there during my surgery.

I would really appreciate any help or suggestions that you have or

from the local support group.

Hey ,

Thanks so much. Everyone on this list is so wonderful that I am sure

that someone will help out. I appreciate your offer.

The strange thing is that the other person who is having her operation

at is in the same situation. Her name is Dawnica and we just got

in touch with each other today.

She also posted today cause she was not aware of the Egroup she just got

a computer.

I have about 50 more emails to look at hopefully someone from there or

the local MGB group will help us both out.

I would love to join you all. I am staying at the Hampton but may

change my room to the Hawthorn. Dawnica is booked at the Hawthorn.
