Guest guest
My autistic son is very run down today & not eating well. I don't know what this will become or if it will spread to the other 3. I had planned on starting the intro diet this week. I'm assuming this is now a bad idea - has anyone had this happen when trying to start & did you wait? Thanks, Michele
Guest guest
My opinion would be not to put off beginning with the intro diet. The foods on the intro are very healthy, as is any other scd food, and could only help him. I'd plan on beginning this week. The sooner the better. Guest guest
Personally, I would not start when you *know* there is an illness brewing... just because you won't know what's what. On the other hand, SCD chicken soup would probably be the best thing for a sicky-icky kid. I just think you might really have your hands full if everyone's sick.... and it might be really stressful for you. I don't think SCD intro would necessarily make an illness worse... it's just a matter of how much stress you can handle all at the same time. You don't want to sabotage yourself right off the bat. Maybe you should just see how he's feeling tomorrow. Patti Starting when sick My autistic son is very run down today & not eating well.
