It's been scanned everytime my pancreas is, and always shows healthy and clear. The only thing out of the ordinary with it is, that it's, in the radiologist's words, " abnormally small " . I tried sending one of Austin's old boxes one year and was told it had to be a " new " box! I must have 800 crayons left over in a box in the closet that I have no idea what to do with!!!! Just joking, I guess what I need to do is donate them to a day school or something, right? ;-)
Guest guest
Holly, if I knew then what I know now; I would keep my gallbladder. At some point in time, the outcome would be the same. Sooner or later I would have cp; I would have liked later better. Chrissy
Guest guest
> Hello Everyone! > > Who still has there gallbladders here? Also, I still have mine I know this doesn't help much but, here goes... I have been dealing with pancreatitis for about 5 years now. My current prognosis is to wait for burnout and then remove the darn thing. I had my gallbladder removed in the early 80's. At the time it was described as one solid stone so...it had to come out. From experience I can assure you that the pain from my gallbladder came darn close to the pain caused by my case of pancreatitis at times. So to answer your question, yes, I would have it taken out again. The gallbladder problem runs in my family and while it might have contributed to the demise of my pancreas (I kinda broke that myself) it was something that had to be done at the time. Hope this helps some. Best Wishes, Knox Northern Ca.
