Guest guest
, Don't take this as written in stone but I think I recall reading somewhere that a rash can be caused by the upset of bile salts and the liver so maybe it's possible that it's connected somehow to your pancrease flare up. I'd as my doctor for more information on this if I were you. > Hello, > > I have a question about this rash that I've gotten. Guest guest
I have a rash constantly, I have read that many with hereditary pancreatitis have chronic rashes. Atwell LPN
Guest guest
When things first started out, right before each attact, I would break out in the oddest rash. It would start in my left hand then go up my right neck and to the right side of my face and into my eye. It was an unslightly rash and quite obvious. It would swell my eye shut. It would burn and itch like the devil. No body could figure out what caused it or how to alleviate it. So we just let nature run its course, several times. I have not had this rash since before the sphincteroplasty in October. I dont know, maybe it was bile salts, maybe a cortosol reaction or maybe it was just the fear and anxiety that I felt. Anyway I have not had it in some time, thank goodness. I have other things to worry about now...lol. HOpe this helps in some small way, our bodies do react to what is going on within it, defense mechanisms and such are still unknown to science. I'm sure there is a lot we could teach them, if they would listen.
