Western NC/Upstate SC support group meeting

Hi, all:

I've been unable to focus on our October meeting, due to family matters, and

wanted to ask a favor: would anybody in our group be willing to take charge

of the October meeting? My husband has been diagnosed with a thyroid tumor,

and will have surgery on October 20. I just don't have the time to get us

organized.

What's involved is picking a meeting date, time and place - I think we

decided on Gastonia, NC for October, and then posting a notice a couple of

times a week, with directions to the restaurant, getting RSVP's, and

answering any questions that may arise.

Nan Coulter said she was willing to find the place to meet in Gastonia. Nan,

if you're reading this - can you help still, or do you need someone else to

do this?

if you're willing to help.
