Guest guest
I haven't posted for a very long time. Have been feeling pretty good until about a week ago. My sternum is so painful right now with every move I make and it even hurts when I breath. Can anyone tell me what causes this and if it is part of Rp. I am on 5mg of prednisone and Azathoraprine, but my dr. wants me to go to 2.5mg of prednisone. I don't think this will help the pain in my sternum area. Thanks a bunch My e-mail is Info@... Guest guest
Cindy, I suffer from sternum pain a lot. I even went to ER about 2 months ago and the doc told me it was costochondrits from my RP. If you want, you can put ice on the area that hurts really bad, that kind of helps with both pain and swelling. Also, if you can take motrin--do! That will relieve the inflamation that is causing the pain along with your prednisone. Feel better, Cindy. Thoughts and Prayers are being sent your way.
