Guest guest
: I can't say now that I find this unbelievable (although I do!!)...but have heard too many stories now to know that it happens waaaaayyy too often. I am so sorry that you had to go through that kind of an experience. Esp. when in the hospital!! You should have been made as comfortable as possible in there.... " one " would think anyway! I think Mark's right...I wouldn't take this lying down...complain about it to the highest management level you can find at that hospital. That is absolutely unsat. My heart goes out to you for having to deal with that...tuff it out my a**!! Problem is though at least it would be with me that in that situation, you're already in such a weakened state, that it's hard to even complain ironic as that may sound. Print that article out and keep it with you at all times....and if you're ever back in the " clink " show it to all of them. Maybe, just maybe, someone would think about it in a serious way and realize that all patients deserve empathy, compassion and comfort - especially chronic illness sufferers. BIG HUGS!!
