Question to the group re Valtrex 1gram

Hi Group, just a question as to wheather any of you have taken this

drug Valtrex (1 gram)? I am supposed to take it for a year for the

immune system to supposedly suppress my herpes simplex 2 in the

sacral ganglion (spine), shingles & maybe help with the EBV virus? I

have had all these for over 20 years now & besides being about $3.00

per pill (without insurance) .....I have some, until the medicare

kicks-in, in November......but it has many many side effects!!! I

will check with my G.I. ...but was wondering if any of you have been

on it? Best wishes & try to stay well....
