Guest guest
> > are you saying that all the people that have had the MGB did > not get the right surgery? > > o Nope. I'm saying the surgery failed for me. Obviously that is not the case for the majority of people. Not losing weight is one of the risks of surgery and it is a risk with *every* type of weight loss surgery. A small percentage of people don't lose weight. This is because not enough bowel is bypassed or the stomach is left too large, or both, which can occur because each person's body is different. The statistics show that the MGB is the safest and most effective of the weight loss surgeries. That doesn't change just because I happen to be one of the patients for whom the surgery has failed. The statistical likelihood of this happening is low, just as the statistical likelihood of a leak or ulcer is low, but they do happen occasionally.
