Hi everyone,

I just wanted to take this opportunity to let you know that I have

not been able to follow the posts over thepast several weeks as I

ahve been out of town. My Dad once more took a turn for the worse

and had to be hospitalized. He has been diagnosed with having

Congestive Heart Faliure as well as Pneumonia. Once they treated the

Pneumonia successfully, he has been sent home from the hospital on

medication, which should help. I also learned, during this visit

with him, that he is almost totally blind! He has had several

surgeries on his eyes due to problems with his retina (detached) as

well as cataracts in both eyes. After several surgeries he has been

told by his physician that there isn't anymore thay can do for him

due to his age (82 yrs old-but still strong as an ox)so he is blind

now, for all intents and purposes. Whenever I see him, all he can

ask is " why is all of this happeneing to me? " It breaks my heart

whenever he asks this of me since no good answer is ever available.

Please remember my Dad and the rest of the family during these trying

times. As for the past posts, I may never be able to catch up to

everything that has been written since last I visited this site, but

I will try and make an attempt at reading them all. However, sleep

is currently on my agenda as I am in need of a lot of rest.
