I have been fighting for insurance approval and hope to be " on the other side " eventually. I am only 2 1/2 weeks post op but I have lost 20 lbs. already. I feel great. It all seems a little unreal to me but my clothes are starting to hang on me. Guest guest Posted September 14, 2000 Report Share Posted September 14, 2000 Hi Terri,I was 389lbs. when I stared the approval process and was 367lbs.on the day of surgery,today I'm 294 and I'm 5.5ins. tall,my surgery was 05/05/00 and I can truthfully say that I haven't felt this good in over 4 years,as for children I can't help you there personally {50 yrs.old)but do knw of others who have gone on to have children with no problems,hope this answers your questions.
