Thank you Jim, Fliss, Sue, and Heidi for your responses. I really

appreciate it! I now have an appt. with Dr. Baillie

(gastroenterologist and pancreas specialist) at Duke next Wed., 4/28.

He was recommended to me by Ginny White from this board and agreed

upon highly by my PCP. They were very surprised that I was able to

get in so quickly. I imagine the finding of the pseudocyst has sped

things up a bit, even though noone else seems to be quite so

concerned. Heidi, I was surprised the radiologist said anything to

me either, but by that time we felt like old friends. She didn't

actually say it was the size of a quarter, but she made a circle with

her fingers that represented the size of at least a quarter. I had a

huge pseudocyst that was almost covering my whole pancreas when I had

my surgery and was always made to feel that any type of pseudocyst is

not a good thing. So why would this one, even if it is small, not be

cause for concern, especially when I have so little pancreas left? I

am so glad I am seeing Dr. Baillie. He is the expert and will be

able to tell me if that is what is causing my problems or not. I will

be sure to let you know how it turns out. I just hope I can live

with this pain until then - the Vicodin helps some but I can't

function on it. I'm sure you can all relate...

Thanks again, and I hope you are all doing well...
