Hi Amy, I stayed on liquids for the first two weeks and then I started introducing soft vegetables and salads. At one month I tried eating fish and shrimp (yummy) and I've tried something new every week since then. I had my first chicken burrito from Taco Bell yesterday for lunch. No problem! I've even had chocolate, the small bite-size Three Musketeers, and one is all I want. I feel like I have so much more freedom in the foods I eat now because nothing (in moderation) is off limits. There is no diet mentality and no cravings for certain foods. I'm not taking any of the protein supplements because I feel I'm getting enough protein in the foods I eat. I'm definitely taking my vitamins, the Citucel (yuk) and the Actigall. My goal going into the surgery was to return to " normal " eating as soon as could and not to concentrate on the weight loss. If it takes one year or two years, as long as the scales are moving in the right direction, I'm okay. Are you pre-op or post-op?
