flu feeling back with a gusto and took me down

Good Morning everyone...

After going off the pain meds because my panc was better after

the stentings that horrid flu feeling returned with a gusto. It

took me down last week. I called my Md and begged for antibiotics,

I have to get better. They finally agreed to give me some but he

was still worried about the source. Dr. Lehman said he doubts it is

pancreas related because if it was it would have cleared with the

stentings. I was feeling better for a while but the Mds believe the

pain meds masked the symptoms. So the hunt for the source began. I

had a cracked tooth so was sent to the dentist. After taking x-rays

he came in and told me he was amazed at what he saw. He said my

whole sinus cavity on that side of my face was black indicating a

severe infection, yet when he checked out the tooth it looked good.

No indication of the teeth having an abcess. He said he is so

puzzled. Called my cardiologist/PCP and left a voice mail about

their comments. Received a call yesterday to get my butt to the

infectious disease Md. You see, I was bit by a dog last summer in

the face, 25 stitches and it became very infected a month later. He

thinks it may be related. Called infectious Md yesterday(same one

who treated the original dog bite infection) and was told to come

right in. After going thru whole story, going back to when it

started last November he was a bit upset with me. I got the why do

you wait speech. The issue here is I did not wait, they all assumed

it was my panc. Was sent for double sets off all blood work. From

each arm and today I have to have a CT with contrast of the sinus &

face bones. They are worried the infection now may be into my sinus

and the bones in my face. Oh, what ever... I guess if it is then

they will probably want to admit me. I can't take this anymore. I

wish this all would stop and I could just lead a normal life. It is

always one thing after another with me. Now there is talk that my

valve is in jeapordy. They were talking about pic lines yesterday.

No way, that can infect my valve. Hopefully I can just have more

oral antibiotics. I am on levaquin now and I am off the couch again

but still feeling pretty sick. My panc is good and I am eating

everything still. My GI Md called last night to check on me and

asked, are you sure its not you pancreas. Whatever.... Leave me the

hell alone. Sorry everyone, I am kind of freaking out today. Just

the prospect of maybe being admitted sets me off. I know this is

not panc related but I had to vent. Talk to you all soon
