Guest guest
Someone had mentioned the Prenatas from Kirkmans being legal, but when I went on their site to look at them the ingredients had xylitol & xanthan gum, which are listed as " illegals " . So what's legal? Are there any other prenatals for SCD? I don't want to take something with xylitol in it anyway. Thanks, Michele
Guest guest
Hmmm. Well, they are listed on the legal supplements list at pecanbread.com, but, of course, that doesn't mean that something has been changed in the ingredient list since the supps list was last updated. I haven't ever had success with being able to access ingredient lists at the Kirkman site. I guess it might be a good idea to call Kirkman to double check for illegals before you order. I've been told that they're very familiar with scd. If they are found to be illegal, please let the group know. Thanks. Guest guest
Those were the ingredients - what I listed. It was listed on their site. The two illegal ingredients listed for the Prenatal are xylitol & xanthan gum. Michele > > Hmmm. Guest guest
<<xylitol & xanthan gum,>> Yikes.... no, those ingredients are not legal! The supplement list on pecanbread.com has not been updated for a while.... and yes, those formulas can change. We should always double and triple check anything we buy. I would ask Kirkman if they have an SCD legal prenatal... perhaps there is a legal version in another category or?? I will make a mental note of one of the many things we need to attend to on the website. Thanks.... Guest guest
Have you looked at Thorne Research? They do a prenatal formula, and tend not to have any added ingredients in their capsules.
