Dan, as you can see, we are all so different. We react different to drugs

too. Metho has worked miracles for many and each one's experience is

different.

I took it for 1 year. I have a hard time with medications so it was

different for me. I had to start off real slow. I took 3 tablets once a

week for 3 weeks and then slowly increased by one tablet until I got to 25mg.

I did have terrible headaches in the beginning, but those went away when my

body adjusted. I only had slight nausea, nothing major and fatigue. I felt

my worse 2 days after taking it. I was advised by my dr to take at night

with food. They also had me taking folic acid with it. This was to help

with the side effects.

Unfortunately, I was one of the ones it didn't work on. I wasn't able to

decrease my pred much in the year I was on metho, so we chose another drug.

Most people are successful with it. You only take it once a week, so since

I don't work I chose to take it on Sunday nights so I would be feeling blah

not on the weekend. For people who work, they might chose taking it on

Friday.

Please don't think that my case is the norm, it isn't. LOL Like I said we

are all different and different things work for different RPer's.

Please be careful with the pred. Ask your dr what the best dose for you is.

and remember you must taper slowly down and NEVER just stop it.

Let us know how you are doing and what you hear from Dr. T.

Thank you all for your quick reply, my dose was 40mg pred. After

reading others prescribed dosages and not being able to contact my

doctor I took it upon myself to increase to 80mg. I'll inform doctor

Trentham on the 15th. he plans to start me on metho, could anyone

tell me what to expect?

Thank you again very much,

Dan
