You can up your yogurt intake. Are you on any acidophilus as well?

Just be sure to take them well far apart so that the erythro does not kill all

your good bugs in the yogurt.

Hi all,

When taking antibiotics, should we up the dose of yogurt we have every day

(as long as it doesn't exceed the recommended amount)? I have to have them

every dental visit, and I'm probably going on a regular, low dose of

erythromycin for my gastroparesis. Yes, I'll be taking it every day . :-(

But it IS a low dose.....so hopefully, with the yogurt, I " ll be able to

combat the adverse affects of it.

TIA,

~

No. Just the yogurt. The acidophilus doesn't agree with me very well. I

wasn't aware that we are supposed to take both.

I think the normal way of dosing for the gp is to take a dose in the morning

and one in the evening. It might be hard to take the yogurt and " E " very far

apart. :-/ Guess I'll cross that bridge when and if I come to it....

Thanks,
