Sharon, how I hurt with you. How can we speak words of comfort to you when we hurt so much for you? It was really tough to let my dad go, but finally, God made me realize that, as much as I loved him, He loved and wanted him more. Some day you will meet them again and, who knows, probably they will be there with open arms waiting for you. And prehaps they'll say, " What took you so long. " Honey, let me adopt you and be your mom (sub). I pray you will have a great birthday. And, who knows, they can be right there with you in your heart. I love you and if I can do anything at all for you, please let me know.

God Bless,

Jo

grieving and updateI have been having a hard time dealing with my dad's passing away. Can someone tell me what a birthday and grieving have in common. Tomorrow is my birthday and my father was here last year for it. Now, all of a sudden I am realizing he's not going to be here :( I'm feel like the grieving is just beginning?? My Mom too, she always had a beautiful card for me and the memories are very vivid. I saw the surgeon yesterday and my forehead and head are still swollen. My head hurts so much. He said it's soft though?? Also he gave me two long shots in my nose because it was swollen and remember he replaced the cartridge in it. Also was very red the day before so he injected a steroid right through it. Also, I see the Rheumy tomorrow. He might want to culture me again. Could going down on Pred make a person more emotional? My thoughts and Prayers are with everyone. Love, Sharon DISCLAIMER!!WE ARE NOT MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS, THEREFORE ANY INFORMATION THAT IS RECEIVED HERE IS FROM EXPERIENCE ONLY. Sharon I am so sorry that on top of all your pain and sufferin physically you have to face so much emotionally!!!!! I pray the Lord will help you and strengthen you and comfort you with His great love. I agree with everybody else, coming down on prednisone is the pitS!!!!!!!. I lost my mom a little over a year ago and I still get depressed and cry at times. Now I can talk about it alittle but then it was impossible!! Prednisone really makes me depressed and I cry over everything even commercials when I am lowering the dose! I hope and pray you become flare free soon and that life does get easier for you right now!!! Love Sue Park

Dear Sharon - YES, it is a known side effect of

prednisone reduction that it makes you more emotional.

In some people it can trigger psychotic episodes. So

don't worry too much about it - it will pass.

Thoughts and prayers are with you, too. Love Liz
