Hi ,

I can't answer all of your questions, but I wanted to say that I will

be praying for your approval today. I know how stressful the waiting

can be, but I can tell you from experience, it's not as stressful as

hearing that they have denied you. I hope that you don't have to hear

those words!...BUT if you do, FIGHT. I was denied twice before I

finally got approved. I know of many others who were denied the first

time, and often it is because of something simple(such as a piece of

information that was not sent to them). If you meet the

qualifications of a BMI of 40 or above and can show that you have

tried and failed at dieting(hav'nt all of us???)then they should

approve you. I don't think that the " test " is in effect yet. I did

not have to do it when I sent in my packet a couple of months ago.

You may be able to find it a www.clos.net, but I don't know if it is

there. I've never seen it posted to this list either. I do know that

many people go alone. Maybe someone will post with the details of how

they handled that. I would think that you would want to take a cab or

shuttle from the hospital to your hotel after surgery. I felt like it

took about a week for all of the surgical meds and pain killers given

in the hospital to wear off. I sure hope everything works out for

you. Please post when you hear from your insurance company.
