Guest guest
I have never had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Lehman only heard his reputation. I have received excellent care in all regard to my condition at MUSC. I am continiuing to do so. I have worked at MUSC for years and was a student prior to that, so I have always been partial to MUSC. The docs I see are all ones that I had the great pleasure to work with for years and to get to know. They are great guys who are taking great care of me. I am very fortunate in that regard. I went to Cinci last march to be evauluated for the total with auto islets. The doc there was not convined my pain was pancreatic. I ended up staying in cinci for 6 days, not the 2 planned. But I had a lot of time to play. And do the tests he wanted. He was still not convinced. I had the beger procedure last april at musc and the resection was sent to pathology. Those finding are indisputable. My condition did seem to catch on rapidly and my health has gone down hill equally as fast. I hated to loose my job so I know how you feel. Where are you located? I do recall that one member went to a hopital in land (I think) to have the tp/ict. Haven't heard much back from her so no news is good news. I hope you dont have to loose your job . Keep trying to find a gi pancreatologist. The eus showed the exterior of your pancreas is not showing any damage, that is actually good news. Now you need to get a look at the inside. Before anything can be diagnosed it has to be investigated thoroughly. Hope this helps some, I'm really tired tonight and haven't tolerated much by mouth. Tomorrow will be better. Warmly, Chrissy
