Hi Guys,

I posted earlier that I had been turned down on my 1st appeal. Well

I got the official letter from BC/BS of SC yesterday. They address

the WLS only. They didn't even touch on the co-morbs or the severity

of each. They were none existent. I thought I was right when I

posted earlier about cost ect. and hitting them with numbers, but the

letter I received confirms it. Now I think I have a real fight on my

hands. They said that the decision had been made in " good faith " as

well as ESRA. I don't think the claims reviews even bothered to read

the reports from other docs or the report submitted from Dr. R.

......So I guess my next move is to makee a stink about the co-morbs

and the cost of each one.

Stormy, I printed out the e-mail attachment you sent. Thank you. I

have gone through it and utilized some ket points for this appeal

letter. Thank you for your help with that. It's a great document. I

have also researched some cost. I re-read my policy in its

entirety. The co-morbs are covered are covered expenses. How about

that?
