Guest guest
Dr. R, Since so much has been written recently about bile and acidic juices in the stomach I would like a clarification of the Tums procedures. I am not sure if it is intended to be life-long like the Citrucel or not. If it it is that is OK - I would much rather chew a couple of Tums EX during the day, get added calcium, having lost the weight postop and no longer have to take a blood pressure pill and risk diabetes, etc. Can you clarify please? Also, if we are really concerned about the possibility acid issue could we take something like Tagamet, Reglan or some of the new proton pump inhibitors long term? on Surgery date 10/04/
