Guest guest
That is amazing -- that it took 53 years to get a diagnosis. I'll keep that in mind as I go through my journey. I'm also going to keep you in mind when I return to work. It is inspiring to see how you maintain a fairly normal life as you suffer with pain and other symptoms. What did the doctors think was going on during all this time? I've wracked my brain trying to pinpoint what exactly happened with me. I've had all or some of the symptoms of pancreatitis most of my life. In the past four years, the symptoms increased in their severity, warranting frequent trips to the doctors in search of answers. Pancreatitis didn't enter my thoughts until last fall when I was researching the symptoms I was having. In the fall, the GI doctor said I was malabsorbing, and I was amazed at how well I got when I went on the enzyme therapy. I may never get any answers to what " this " is. I just know the pain is severe and I feel sick most of the time. Thanks for sharing your story, Fliss. Tammy
