Guest guest
Hi Susiecue, After seven months on MTX, this is how I got. I was sick to my stomach 24/7. The sight or smell of food was enough to make me gag, and the sight of my MTX would make me heave. My doc tried cutting me back and it didn't help. He tried varied ways of taking the medication...he tried me on the injections. Nothing helped. That was when he moved me on to azathioprine. Good luck. Let your doctor know exactly how you've been feeling, and let us know what he has to say. Guest guest
Susiecue, I agree with Lu 100 per cent! It is OK to vent, we all understand because we go there sometimes. But it is OK to ask your doc for help. I am off the antidepressant now, but it really helped me. At one stage I was just crying all the time and felt really desperate. I felt there was no hope. Now I feel there is everything to hope and live for, and I pray you can get back to feeling good about things soon.
