Guest guest
Did you have any nausea after surgery? (Nope, no nausea.) Do we still feel the stomach acids in our old stomach? (I too would get the hungry feeling if I had been along time between meals....but now I wonder if it had something to do with the fact that when I did eat I overate, therefore generating more acid. The reason I think this is because when I was on the Slimfast before surgery I didnot seem to get as hungry between meals as long as I eat 3 times a day I do not think the bypassed part of the stomach plays any part after surgery, but Dr. R should be able to answer this question.) Do I have to cut down on my water intake? (Your intake may be alot less at the beginning because food will be fighting for its space in the new tummy, but as time goes by I would think fluid volume would increase. I was drinking lots of bottled water before surgery, but right now the only water I am getting is the water used to dilute my juice and gatoraid). Many people have had the problem of being kicked off during the filling out of the online form, but persistance pervailed and they finally got thru it! Hang in there and keep trying! For me the whole procedure from beginning to the day of surgery was a test of patience and desire for this procedure! Luckily I am known to be a little on the stubborn side, so I was determined nothing was going to prevent me from having the surgery. Especially electronic equipment and BCBS! Hope all this helped some! Good luck! Gloria Dean
