My 7 m.o. has been wearing a Hanger helmet for 2 weeks and it is making her head hot and sweaty and she gets a rash all over her scalp. My husband wants to shave her head so that her head would get less sweaty. I really don't want shave off the poor kid's hair! Also, I wonder if the helmet would irritate her skin more if she has no hair on her scalp. Has anyone done this or know whether this is a good or bad idea?
