Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I just joined this group, hoping to find support for my son's non-healing gut. My son has been gfcfsf, corn and yeast free for over 2 1/2 years. I have lost all faith in prescription anti- fungals and antibiotics to heal his gut. So, I'm going to try going SCD again. We tried almost 2 years ago, but I don't think I gave it a long enough trial period. My son hates to chew, so most of his diet is soft or pureed. I thought if I found something that looked appetizing, he might be more interested in chewing, like bread or breadsticks. School lunch has been tough for us. I found a site for Chebe bread mixes. The main starch used is manioc, from yucca and cassava plants. Is this SCD allowable? Thanks for all input. s, Mom to Jack, almost 5. We have many bread and cracker recipes on SCD and you can even make a crunchy cracker by just melting cheese on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, Bake it at 350- 375 F for 10 minutes, cool and peel from the paper or pan. other recipes are in BTVC and on the pecanbread website: www.pecanbread.com.
