Mimi, I would also like to know more about this. ......

An even more important difference is that Dr Haas states that you need 100%

compliance for brain healing. Dr Haas found out that children who had a small

number of infractions got gut healing but not neurological healing.

In almost 3 years on scd, my now 16 yo has cheated various times. Am I just

wasting my time? I am doing this for neurological reasons. Is there a way I

can read more about this? Thanks Pearl

Pearl,

We are running a list for children and have been getting great results

for both gut and brain healing. We all know that kids (and many

adults)cannot resist some SCD illegal foods. If total compliance had

been required we would not have been able to get such good results.

I am not sure about this. It could be that some kids can get away with

infractions and still get good results but that there is a small

subgroup that needs total compliance.

It might be that you need total compliance for about 4 months and

then a few infractions will not make a difference.

The best way to find all about this is to take a survey of our list

using a program such as monkey survey. We could then find out a lot of

things! Anyone volunteer to help set it up?
