Guest guest
I just wanted to make a pitch for having a real family member or friend accompany you to Durham for the surgery. This is important - borrow the money to treat them to an airline ticket if you have to do so. Go ahead - ask a friend, a colleague, a good neighbor, a sister or brother - invite them all expenses paid to be at your side. I bet you'll get a taker........... (surgery Oct 4th and I won't let Mom pay a dime).
Guest guest
That is what I'm doing. I wouldn't DREAM of coming alone. What if there is a problem? I am bringing my mom and paying for the plane ticket and the hotel and rental car. She deserves it!! Also, it will give us both a chance to get away from my kids!! (LOL) It will also give her a chance to get away from her other 4 grandkids. Don't get me wrong, they are her life but that is just the problem..... She has kids ALL of the time because someone always needs her help. Therefore, I felt she should get to go with me instead of being the one who would have to watch my kids while I was gone. Good Luck . I have read many of your posts and truly enjoy them. I would help you out, but I am in OK. I'm sure someone will come through for you. He's not heavy he's my brother..... > I just wanted to make a pitch for having a real family member or > friend accompany you to Durham for the surgery. Guest guest
There's an argument that your co-pilot's airfare and everything's a tax write-off too. If it's required you have the support then I believe it's allowable. Check w/your accountant. na
