Guest guest
Val, et al.: I could say that hand washing is a ticklish subject, but that is so silly I won't. I'm not kidding when I tell you that my mother was one fastidious lady, and as early as I can remember as a child, I was washing my hands so many times a day, I think we kept Proctor and Gamble in business during the Great Depression. It is nothing to be apologetic about if you set rules for protecting your child's health. Hand washing is very important, and at times, using my age and authoritative posture, I refuse to shake hands with a doctor who hasn't washed his/her hands after coming into the examination room. Anyone can forget, and a polite reminder can remedy the situation. Priorities have to be set, and hand washing has been proved to prevent the spreading of germs.
