Hey !

How are you? I think only the fluid goat milk is legal. We buy Meyenburg

from WalMart or Publix. Also, some buy raw goat milk from someone local in

their area. I don't know if that would be an option for you or not.

How is Rylee doing? Is she eating more than popsicles yet? I have been

thinking about you all and hoping she is doing better and eating better.

Hi guys,

I'm ready to try to make the goat yogurt. There aren't any stores in my

area that sell goat milk so I was wandering if the powdered goat milk

is okay to use?

It would be alot less money to ship but I don't want to order it until

I find out if it is legal.

Thanks,

Yes..... powdered goat milk is legal.... but only if it is reconstituted to the

same concentration as fresh milk would be. No adding of extra milk powder.

Hi Dana,

Actually, things aren't any better. Rylee is on a food strike again.

She tired of the popsicles after 3 or 4 days and wants nothing to do

with them.

She went back to school today and I had to send something for her

(they have snack time at school and I knew she was going to freak out

when all the other kids were eating) so I had to send a banana. So

now she's back on that kick again.

The thing is, I can hold out for 3 or 4 days of her eating nothing

and she might eat the popsicle again but she won't eat ANYTHING else.

If I actually did get her to eat something else, she gets stuck on

that food for a few days and then stops. It's like she will only eat

one food at a time and I have to starve her for 4 or 5 days in

between.

I made the chicken nuggets with the mayo and they looked almost

identical to the Tyson nuggets she used to eat. She threw them on the

ground and screamed bloody murder. I just don't understand how she

knows. I can't find any replacement foods for her because she is like

a private detective - she spots the differences immediately. It's

like she is terrified of food.

I'm just really praying that feeding therapy helps her because I

just don't know what to do anymore. I have been getting small amounts

of chicken soup into her juice but that's about it. Her behavior is

horrid. I thought it was die off in the beginning but we're going on

3 weeks now and it's just as bad as it was in the beginning.

I don't know how long I can keep feeding her bananas and chicken soup

though. I made the chicken pancakes and I pulled out the Eggo pancake

box out of the freezer so she would think they came from there. The

chicken pancakes looked JUST LIKE EGGO PANCAKES and she wouldn't even

touch them. I tried to take her finger to touch them and she screamed

and kicked me and I swear she said " Goooooo aaaaawwwwwwaaaaayyyyy! "

clear as day. I guess it's a good thing that she actually spoke but I

just wish she would eat!

i wish I had good news to report but it's looking like we're back at

square 1 again :-(

Thanks for thinking of us and i'll keep you updated,
