I will keep in my thoughts and prayers. Has to be hard for you to watch him. Kids usually handle it better than we do. I hope an pray that the next dr. visit will bring much more and better results for him to fight or suppress this stuff.

Remember we are here if you need us!

Lots of love

My oh my, I am so happy I'm only getting the hooks put on a week

before! After reading all of your complaints about the hooks and

blisters I went to count how many packets of wax I have - 10 so far.

I'm going to ask my ortho for even more next Tuesday when I get the

hooks on. Better safe than sorry!

I guess I'll order some more zip n' squeeze bags and I had totally

forgotten about the jaw ice pack. Good call !

Yeah, the last few weeks have gone by really quickly. Scary!! I

couldn't sleep last night despite having spent the whole day moving

half of my furniture into storage and shipping the rest to Italy. My

mind just kept on racing and making lists of things I need to buy in

preparation for the surgery. But I'm determined not to let the

surgery consume me these last few days ahead of it. Want to enjoy as

much as I can now while my face is not swollen and I can bite into

food. Something I've realized that I've gotten into the habit of

doing to soothe my mind is fantasize about how great life will be

post-surgery with my new bite. Here's to hoping that this happens!

, good luck with your dance recitals! I'm sure you'll be the star

of the show!

, even though I don't know you personally you're good humor on

this message board has been wonderful, really puts a smile on my face

every time I read your posts.

Have a good day ladies. More to come from me later, I'm sure. Now

that I have more time on my hands I seem to post a lot more

frequently. Hope I'm not driving anyone nuts!

Thanks Sara for those kind words..Yes I do try to find humor in

everything that I do! Life is surely to short not to. It also helps

to get through all the stress of preparing for this surgery. I keep

telling my surgeon the only requirement that I have is to put me back

together in one piece....I don't want no crooked face...He just

laughs..He must think I am joking or something..(haha) He also laughs

when I tell him that he is going to be my #1 nightmare after this

surgery is completed...Right now my OD is my #1 nightmare..A title he

has earned..(haha)

Yes , good luck on your dance recital..You will be the star of

the show!!

Talk to you both soon!!
