Guest guest
I think that this is really important; and I think that even in the days when the disease was diagnosed solely on clinical presentation, as the medical world is so fond of saying, that an early diagnosis saved lives and warned family members with suspicious indicators of the disease. I posted a couple of years ago about how ALL of us in our clan decided, after the death of an undiagnosed youth who was positive for cf, to ALL, including those with cf and their parents, if living, to be dna tested. What a sociological study! Very in formative. Found out a lot else about our genetic make-up as well, so it cannot be anything but helpful medically to really know! Love to all at cfparents, n Rojas
