Carrot juice and garlic for yeast

Can anyone tell me why you use the carrot juice in conjunction with the

garlic? Is it just to mask the pungency of the garlic or is there some yeast

fighting capability in putting the two together?

Also, I'm assuming the way to do this is to juice the carrot, and put the

garlic clove right in the juice with the carrot. If that's wrong, please let

me know.

The carrots also have an antifungal effect.

Yes, two antifungals are better than one.

I've juiced the garlic clove(s) with the carrots.
