Guest guest
Hey ! I am trying to avoid use of nut flours because my boys do not seem to digest it well. The buttons work well because they cook up pretty firm and have the appearance of being bread like to children who crave that texture. At least that is my experience. Also, I have had no problems with the buttons sticking to the paper liners. I take the muffin tin out of the oven and then let it cool before I try to take them out of the liners. Then I heat them again on 350 degrees on a sheet of aluminum foil for 10 minutes right before serving that's is what helps them to really firm up. Dana julie46250 wrote: > > This is my experience. I used the sneaky veggie pancake recipe Dana and all Button-makers, We're trying to cut back on nuts so I'm curious if I should try these. Is the purpose of making " buttons " instead of pancakes so that you don't have to stand in front of the griddle a long time, or are they sturdier, or what? (I'll try these if there's a significant advantage, but boy do I hate cleaning muffin tins and also hate wasting food stuck to muffin papers.) , mom to > > > > --------------------------------- > Cheap Talk?
