Guest guest
Do either of your older children have nut allergies? If not, you should be OK with introducing both. My personal opinion is to start with the honey, and start slow. Then, I'd introduce the nuts maybe a month after he's started on honey. My nt 18mth. old has had both honey and nuts since the 14mth. age. We started scd right at his first birthday. Of course, nut flour and butter isn't on the intro diet, and we started introducing vegies and fruits before nuts...We're doing it for my 3.5yr. old. Anyway, he was probably around 13 mths. when I started making anything that would require honey. He would've been around 14mths. when we started using nut butters and flours. He does not eat either of these regularly though because I rarely make the baked goods. All that to say that I would go ahead and be comfortable introducing these two foods. Just space it out, and go slow, and watch carefully.
