One step closer for insurance!

I am so happy today! Last time we went to the doctor, I took a big packet of

letter from PT, from the ped, and a long letter that I wrote documenting how we

got to the point of getting a helmet. They sent it off with additional

paperwork to our insurance company--

And I received a letter today stating that " our medical review staff has

determined that your patient's condition meets the coverage criteria for a

cranial remolding orthotis " . Says we meed the medical policy criteria, but it

doesn't " guarantee payment or existence of coverage under the plan " . I had

called our insurance company before all this started and there IS coverage under

our policy, and our doctor IS in-network, so I'm hoping that it will be smooth

sailing at this point.

I just didn't expect this at all, and I hope we've gotten over the biggest

hump--
