Guest guest
Dear, dear Chrissy, I'm so glad you've posted again! Thank you for your nice comments about the photos. I'm desperately sorry about you feeling so down. You know, you are bound to feel this way while you wait for your operation, especially as you have so recently had major surgery anyway. This is a very, very tough patch in your life but it will get better. Think of how much Shirley and others suffered before they had their TP/ICT. Have you been in touch with Shirley? From what I've seen her write, I'm sure she'd like to help. As I know she's mentioned on this site before (otherwise I wouldn't mention it) Sue also had already had two operations before her TP. No way am I trivialising what you are suffering but simply saying that others have been there also and have come out the other side. I know I would be in a worse psychological state than you, Chrissy, so please don't think I'm being " preachy " . I just want us to come out the other side of this bad time with you. Although I feel I know you very well indeed in one way, in another, of course, I don't know you well enough to know what to suggest to make you feel better. Do you like films, comic shows, novels etc. etc? What might take your mind off this a little while you are waiting? Of course, I know how much you have to do with your family. Perhaps I tend to forget since mine are grown-up! I know you love your garden as well? Have you got another appointment with Dr or any of the specialists to give you something to focus on? Are you simply waiting to hear from Cinci? Do you pray? Some people find that immensely helpful but this is a very personal thing of course. When you're down, ALWAYS feel free to e-mail me because sometimes just letting off steam can help and the family can reach the stage where they've heard enough! Everyone here understnds how you feel. One reaches a point where it's all too much. Just hang on to that idea that the TP/ICT will be the turning point for you, Chrissy. When, one day, you have another occupation, that fantastic job will recede into the background and the new friends and responsibilities will be the focus of you life. I know it's going to be a long slog, but time passes quickly and better days will come. Let's look forward to them, Chrissy. It's good about your test; that will presumably be something they won't have to worry about when they do the TP? Are you taking stuff for the pain? I'll be in touch again. Sorry I can't find the right words to say. With my love, Fliss (UK)
