Thats an excellent idea Ruby. I, myself, would love to see

something in my area (such as a once a year fundraiser). Nashville

Tn area to be exact. I sure hope someone out there has some kind of

info for this. We sure could use all the help we can get.

Take care

Hi Kris:

I've been reviewing all the posts I can find, I find a lot by you.

Thank you for taking the time to reply and be a friend. You sound

like an extremely caring person, and just one of the reasons that I

love this group. I was in another group but did not get a lot of

responses when someone pointed this one out to me. I did a lot of

work with WSM in Nashville, and love the city. I was close to

joining as music director there when my pancreatitus hit me hard and

took me out of the running.

I know things have changed there, but raising money for research in

pancreatitus is LONG over due, and I would whole heartedly support

it. In regards to this post, getting a radio station interested

would be a good thing to do, but moreover getting doctors that

specialize in this field would be the starting point. Where I live,

I have yet to find a specialist, and I am so frustrated. With the

amount of pain meds I was on, I was beginning to wonder if I was on

the right course. My wife unfortunately has little compassion (which

is another story) but she began to think of me as an addict. It

wasn't until I discovered this group, that I was able to feel not so

alone, and that the pain meds I was on, several others were on the

same thing. Keep up your great work, I appreciate it, and I know

others do too.

In deep appreciation and respect,

Bob Potter in WI
