Guest guest
Thanks for the information. I just wonder why they make us CP patients go through so much pain and then throw in a couple of surgeries and then decide to take the darn thing out. I really wonder why they just don't recommend at the beginning of the diagnoses that one can consider right then to have the pancreas removed? Seems it would save alot of time and pain on the patients part. I was considering the nerve block but I am really not confortable with someone messing with nerves so close to my spine. I mean, one tiny slip and ........ who knows? And then most people don't get any long lasting relief anyway. I think I will just stay on the pain meds until the pancreas burns out (if it ever does). I don't look forward to multiple surgeries either. But who knows, maybe I'll wake one day and this will all disappear (dreaming)... I read your post about your supervisor. Sounds like your instincts kicked in and you did what you had to do. I hope everything works out for you. Take care, Kris in TN
