Guest guest
You mentioned that you're nearing the htree month mark, so you must know that it's very common to have more die off symptoms around this time. You might want to go back to the intro diet for a day or two to see if this helps him. Also, you could try the carrot juice and garlic anti fungal remedy. I haven't tried it yet, but it's talked about a lot here. It's two carrots, juiced, and one garlic clove, juiced. Meleah scd 05/06 iel 3.5yrs. asd, Ethan 5yrs., Mark 18mths. Guest guest
Is the garlic cooked first? I tried this remedy with *four* carrots and one (raw) garlic clove. Liam would have nothing to do with it. Audrey Mom to 2.9 y.o. ASD The information contained in this message may be privileged, confidential, and protected from further disclosure. Guest guest
Yes, the garlic needs to be fresh... that's where you'll get the powerful yeast-killing properties. It's very strong tasting... I know. I had to give it to my daughter in a medicine dropper.... one cc at a time, with bites of applesauce in between each swallow. It's an aquired taste, I'm sure.... and some kids will eventually drink it down, but I don't blame him! It works SO well, though. Patti Re: Bright red Cheeks-anyone seen this? Guest guest
.... I am WAY behind on e-mail and cannot remember if I answered this post or not. Let me know how Dylan is doing today. The red cheeks *could* be Fifth Disease.... if you're not seeing the other symptoms he usually had from yeast. Have you ruled that out? Sorry if I'm repeating myself. Patti Bright red Cheeks-anyone seen this? HI all! My son has been doing really well on diet, however, he is showing signs of yeast overgrowth again or at least I think thats it- Bright red Cheeks. When he had this before, he had hyperactivity and uncontrolled laughing. He only has the red cheeks this time. We haven't seen this since before Dylan was on GFCF. He takes SCD legal NO PHENOL, for high phenolic foods like apples and bananas, and he is on Nystatin, but we want to try some alternatives to Nystatin. We are also coming near the 3 month mark. Can anyone shed light on this? I dont want to stop giving him fruits, his appetite has also been lousy for about the last 2 weeks, after eating great. Thanks for any and all help-
Guest guest
Hey Audrey - Evie did take the carrot juice and garlic when I put pineapple juice in it too. Fresh from a pineapple - which is supposed to be good for digestion and I would think shouldn't cause dysbiosis, although fruit sugar can always contribute - fresh would be ideal and maybe a quick heat and cool to kill any fungus. It may at least get the carrot and garlic down! I love juicing - I wish I had more time... that carrot/garlic one is supposed to be great on yeast. -- In pecanbread , " Audrey Todd " wrote: > > Is the garlic cooked first? Guest guest
Fresh, home-juiced pineapple juice is fine to use... and the enzymes might be helpful.
