It is suggested to start with 1only /8 of a teaspoon. The action of the yogurt

is very

powerful. Take a few days off from it and start agin with the suggested amount.

Audrey,

Hard to know since you have the variable of the carpet mixed into this first

night after starting the yogurt. You did give a much bigger amount than we

usually suggest starting with. The powerful probiotics in the yogurt can trigger

big time die-off.... so we like people to start with only 1/8 tsp and just see

how it goes.... increasing slowly.

You might want to hold off for a day or two, then start again (sans carpet) with

just that small amount and see how he does.

Last night we tried the goat's milk yogurt for the first time with Liam. I

gave him about 1.5 tablespoons of it mixed with his peach sauce. This

morning at 6 am he woke up with what seems to have been a nightmare and he

was inconsolable for about 30 minutes--screaming and kicking. It was pretty

severe.
