Guest guest
I have been reading some of the posts about nerve blocks, etc. and my pain doctor wanted me to have one, but he scheduled it for me and then left town without telling me what would be involved, where I was having it done, what doctor would be doing it or anything. I didn't feel very comfortable with that so I asked his receptionist to cancel it, and I would talk to him about it at my next appointment. My question is, do they just stick these needles in you, without any type of sedation? If no sedation, is it very painful? Any experience with this would be helpful. I'm not sure how giving me a nerve block in my back, will help my cp, except for I have ALOT of pain that radiates from the RUQ around to the back. Thanks.
