Guest guest
Hi , Actually, I didn't do anything. No lifting, no bending funny, nothing. I was sitting on the floor and going through some computer cd's and stood up, and that is when I felt it! I knew it was going to be bad when I felt the " ripping " feeling as I stood. I have had this happen before, usually when I'm doing " normal " activities. I know it's weird but I've had back poblems since my teens after a couple of car accidents. Nothing shows up on an xray. I believe its the muscles in the area. Freak thing, just happens out of the blue. So here I sit, and sit, and sit. My husbands helps me to the bathroom 3 times a day. Each day I seem to have about 5% improvement, so it is a slow process. I was hoping that by tomorrow I can use the walker by myself. Keep you fingers crossed! I should be fine by next week, and I'll just walk very careful for another week and then things are fine. I really didn't need this on top of my pain level increasing too. My pancreas pain level that is. I have to take pain meds 4-5 times a day and I still feel pain inbetween but the level is 4-5. I was supposed to see my family doc today but I had to cancel because of my back, and the inablility to walk. I called and asked the nurse if I could have a refill on pain meds. My husband will have to go and pick it up for me later. Good luck with your appt. tomorrow. I'll be thinking of you.... Kris in TN
