Hi ,

Actually, I didn't do anything. No lifting, no bending funny,

nothing. I was sitting on the floor and going through some computer

cd's and stood up, and that is when I felt it! I knew it was going

to be bad when I felt the " ripping " feeling as I stood. I have had

this happen before, usually when I'm doing " normal " activities. I

know it's weird but I've had back poblems since my teens after a

couple of car accidents. Nothing shows up on an xray. I believe

its the muscles in the area. Freak thing, just happens out of the

blue. So here I sit, and sit, and sit. My husbands helps me to the

bathroom 3 times a day. Each day I seem to have about 5%

improvement, so it is a slow process. I was hoping that by tomorrow

I can use the walker by myself. Keep you fingers crossed! I should

be fine by next week, and I'll just walk very careful for another

week and then things are fine. I really didn't need this on top of

my pain level increasing too. My pancreas pain level that is. I

have to take pain meds 4-5 times a day and I still feel pain

inbetween but the level is 4-5. I was supposed to see my family doc

today but I had to cancel because of my back, and the inablility to

walk. I called and asked the nurse if I could have a refill on pain

meds. My husband will have to go and pick it up for me later. Good

luck with your appt. tomorrow. I'll be thinking of you....
