Laurie,

Wish I could help. I'm on Neurontin and fortunately I HAVEN'T had any negative

side

effects, only positive results as there has been such overall improvement up

until now.

I've been taking it for well over 3 months now. It does make me very, very

sleepy, though,

but overall the pain is lessened.

If you're having such negative reactions to the new meds I would point this out

to your

physician. I wouldn't discontinue taking them, though, without consulting with

the doctor

first. I don't think he/she would see it as non-compliant, but truthful. If

the physician is

really trying to help you with your pain issues, then now is the time for

honesty and they

should react by trying to find another med for you.

I had some problems with some of the meds my PM doc tried me on when I first

started

going to him early this year. I told him right away, and he was very helpful by

having me

try something else, then something else, until we found the right combination.

Hopefully

your doctor will be the same way. Good luck!

With love, hope and prayers,

Heidi

these

motivation, no

appetite, just feel very ickky). (snip) I want to discontinue the meds but am

afraid that if I

do, the doc will see this as me being non-compliant and difficult
