Guest guest
..... You made my day! Thanks for the update and give Dylan a huge hug from me. Since I am welling up right now with tear of joy from just reading this... I'm sure you are absolutely walking on air! What a lucky boy he is to have such a devoted mom. much love, Patti WOW!!!! ! What a change in my son!!! I just thought I'd drop some holiday cheer. We have been doing the SCD for 3 mos now(just went thru die off number two and regression right on time)I cannot thank all of you enough for hanging in there with me! If I would have given up, he wouldnt be where he is now. I CANNOT BELIEVE MY EYES. He is singing and dancing with the Macys day parade on tv right now. He ran up to my husbands friend and threw his arms around him and said HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! For 2 years he didnt know what day it was, nor did he care who was in our house including us. the tank could have pulled up on my front doorstep and he couldve cared less.He told us He cant wait to see his cousins today and PLAY...The neurodevelopmental ped told us basically, dont expect much from him, he will always have social problems and be awkward and an inability to play. She also told me not to waste any more time on BIOMED or SCD as it was a waste of time.....The only waste of time was going to see her! Whats better? Eye contact 125% Socialization 200% Eating habits 100% Cognitive ability 100% More recently...spontaneous speech. I was the one who asked when does the good stuff start..Oh my gosh!!!! Ask and you shall recieve. To all who are new...DONT GIVE UP!!!Believe me you have to have faith. Most biomed is trial and error. I tried this because I thought I had exhausted all options. The more die off he had-the better he got. It is just as Elaine wrote in the book. Exactly for us. I hope this helps some of you newer folks. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. Be dilligent an you just may see some amazing stuff.God Bless all of my family at home and here at Pecanbread! Have a safe,Happy and Grain free Thanksgiving all! Guest guest
That's fabulous. If your developmental pediatrician had been a man, I'd ask if we had seen the same one. We were pretty much told the same thing...he should have a fairly decent life because he's not severe. Well, that's not good enough. I know that my son can be a normal, neurotypical person. He's getting better all the time. Keep up the hard work and faith. Meleah WOW!!!! ! What a change in my son!!! I just thought I'd drop some holiday cheer.
